The aim of marketing is to know and understand the customer so well the product or service fits him and sells itself.
Digital marketing, branding and advertising projects are always so inspiring to work on. I love the challenge of designing a marketing strategy that can make a brand stand out from the competition and noise. Great products deserve loyal consumers. And I’m passionate about finding creative ways of marketing and branding your products in a way to do just that.
I love the exchange from an episode of Mad Men when Don Draper pitches Lucky Strike Tobacco the ad headline – “It’s Toasted.” After the tobacco executive confusedly points out that every tobacco company toasts their tobacco, Don presents the insight, “No. Everybody else’s tobacco is poisonous. Lucky Strikes’… is toasted.”
This approach is key. Even in crowded industries with virtually indistinguishable products, sometimes it takes savvy branding to invent a distinction. It doesn’t take a million dollar budget or an expensive creative agency to get ahead. Sometimes you just need a good idea. And I love working with clients to find these insights and creative ideas to get them ahead.
Advertising is based on one thing – happiness. And do you know what happiness is? Happiness is the smell of a new car. It’s freedom from fear. It’s a billboard on the side of a road that screams with reassurance that whatever you’re doing is OK. You are OK.
I provide full-service digital marketing and branding solutions. This means I can help you from the initial strategy creation all the way through the creative execution itself. These services include –
I graduated with honors with a degree in Advertising from UNC-Chapel Hill. During my time there, I also completed a second degree in Communications – Media Production. Both of these focuses allow me to approach your brand with both the visual eye of a designer in addition to the marketing expertise of an advertising professional.
I currently work as a freelance marketing specialist and designer and am always open to new clients. If you’re looking for a Charlotte, NC marketing or branding specialist, I’d be glad to work onsite and meet your team if a project is in the area. Otherwise, I’m happy to take on clients working remotely from anywhere in the world. No project is too big or too small. If you feel I would be a good fit for your upcoming work, I’d be glad to jump on a call or schedule a meeting with you to talk through the details.
Don’t tell me how good you make it; tell me how good it makes me when I use it.
